This beautiful stone cottage is situated in a small village in the heart of Portugal between Tomar and Ferreira do Zezere. The property although being nice and modern, catering for modern-day living, still blends in well with its surroundings.

Past the family bathroom, we have in front of us the two bedrooms. First is the guest bedroom which has a walk-in wardrobe and a good size window to the front side of the house. The master bedroom is a good size and has an en-suite bathroom. The bathroom has some exposed stone walls, a shower, a toilet and vanity unit. There is also a set of patio doors leading out to a stone paved area, perfect for sitting out with your morning coffee.
The house comes with around 1560sqm of land that is packed full with various types of fruit trees. There is room for a swimming pool also if needed.
The property is located 5 minutes away from the village of Vales, where you have a petrol station, a hardware shop and garden objects, a café and a supermarket.
There is also a weekly Sunday market in the village of Chaos that sells vegetables, bread, meat, fish etc.
Tomar, which has supermarkets, shops, builders merchants, cafes, restaurants, health centres, schools, a weekly market, swimming pools and historic Convento do Cristo and Castle constructed by the Knight Templars in the 12th century is around 10 minutes away.
To Castelo de Bode Lake it is only around 20 minutes away. This lake is popular for all kinds of water sport activities including swimming, sailing, canoeing, scuba diving, wind surfing and water skiing. The lake is also a haven for wildlife and there are many river beaches close to the property, ideal for relaxing on sunny days at the water's edge.
The closest airport to the property is situated at Lisbon, which is around one and a half hours drive from the cottage, though it is possible to utilize either train or bus for this journey. Lisbon airport is serviced by several low-cost airlines which operate regular flights into and out of the United Kingdom and other European countries.
